What I’ve Learned in 2015: Part I

CBS-29-WebEvery December I do a “year in a review” to highlight and honor the challenges, struggles, and victories of the year. These are the themes that showed up for me and I want to share them with you. When you’re done reading, you’re welcome to write back with your own themes and victories in the comments below so I can celebrate your year too.

The Themes of My Year: Part I

Sales awakening. When you take a stand for someone’s transformation, it’s not about you. When it’s not about you there’s no need to feel pushy in the sales conversation. The qualities required in a successful sales call are curiosity, openness, detachment, and commitment. When you embody these qualities the sales call becomes a natural flow of inspired conversation where love is present.

Conscious struggles can help you find your message. Finding your message doesn’t have to be hard. Sometimes, it’s right in front of your nose, you just have to stop trying so hard to see it. Let’s say you’re struggling in a particular area of your life or business. The deeper you’ve consciously struggled in that area, meaning- reached out for support and guidance when you’ve needed it- the more you’ve grown and transformed. That means you have a hell of a lot to teach in that area because you know the struggle inside and out. If you’ve lived through it, you can teach it.

No such thing as charging your worth. Your worth is priceless! Charge what you need to deliver the most quality coaching to your clients. Find the number that gives you the freedom and support you desire as a woman so you can be the most powerful coach you can be. When you undercharge, you’ll most likely under deliver. Under charging doesn’t only rob you of the time and money you’ve put into your development and expertise, but it robs your client of a financial breakthrough. The more your client energetically puts into working with you, the more committed she’ll be. Money is a beautiful energy to place commitment behind.

Resentment is synonymous with insanity. Resentment is like a poisonous pill. You swallow it and expect it to kill the other person, when YOU’RE the only person who suffers. When resentment is brewing, take action and get in communication with that person. The only person you’re hurting with this resentment is yourself.

Ask for what you want and get what you need.  I’ve had a habit of getting really bad haircuts. Was it my hair stylist’s fault? No way. I went into these cuts with zero knowledge of the kind of haircut I wanted: “Just a trim… you know.. do whatever you think is best.” (Seriously!) Now I go in with pictures and certainty. I don’t get bad haircuts anymore. What results do you dislike in your life right now? Notice if those results are from a lack of clarity on your end and take responsibility and clean it up with the mop of love and forgiveness. It’s my belief that knowing what you want is the catalyst for satisfaction and contentment. Don’t know what you want? Focus on what you DON’T WANT, then find the exact opposite and create that.

Stay tuned for Part II coming next week!. Until then, Happy Solstice. May you honor the dark and light within you and trust the purpose you were born with.

All my love,

Chrissy

Holiday Blues #2

A tangled ball of Christmas lights

Hey gorgeous,

Here’s a message I wrote a year ago which had a ton of response for my community. If the holidays are hard for you, read on. You’re not alone.

For much of the world, this holiday season is a time of family, celebration, and abundance. You may love this time of year and cherish every blessing this season brings, and if that’s the case, I’m so happy for you!! I’m in a different category. The holidays have this remarkable way of bringing up what I need to see.  I mostly feel overwhelm, sadness, and exhaustion during this time of year.

Every December, year after year,  I notice myself asking “Why?”

Why am I different?
Why is this time of year so hard?

When I tune into my Internal Sanctuary of Awareness: a term I’ve coined as the temple of my truth, my gut and soul; I notice how useless those questions are. Those questions are forms of resistance created by the ego, the structure designed to keep me out of the present moment. When I drop into “what’s so” in real time with total acceptance, my truth is: The holidays are hard for me. That’s it. No story. No drama. “Why” doesn’t matter when I have the truth.

If you’re anything like me and find yourself experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, or sadness during the holidays, I have some useful tips for you.

Tip #1
Your suffering ends when you accept where you’re at and let yourself off the hook.

When those thoughts of “why” take you down the rabbit hole of shame by making yourself wrong, you’ve been hijacked by your ego. Questioning where you’re at is a form of resistance, and resistance is the nemesis to self-love and presence. What you resist persists. Compassionately accept where you’re at and find love ASAP. Love yourself madly and give yourself a break! Have a good cry and give yourself permission to be where you are.

Tip #2
Find connection.
Suffering happens in isolation. The human spirit is meant for connection! Even though I was surrounded by friends and family this holiday season, I kept my overwhelming thoughts to myself which isolated me into thinking I was alone in my experience. When I opened up to my mom and boyfriend about the anxiety I was feeling, I felt heard, seen and received. I wasn’t alone anymore.  I was open to connection and I felt so much relief after sharing what was happening for me.

Tip #3
Get crystal clear on what you need and communicate it lovingly and clearly.

I needed alone time! I changed around my holiday plans to get some solo time in before the end of 2014. While I’m outgoing by nature, I’m an introvert at heart. My body, emotions, and mind told me something was off during Christmas, so I listened to my nervous system and chose relaxation and reflection on my own terms instead of going up to my family’s cabin. I’ll be honest, my communication could have been more loving and clear…  Luckily, my wise and loving mother held the space for me to communicate this need with zero guilt. (Love you, Mom!) True power is communicating what you want and what you don’t want lovingly and clearly with zero attachment to the outcome. This communication technique is a skill that I work on every single day, and trust me, I’m a work in progress.

Tip #4
Take action through self-love.

I knew I needed alone time, but more than anything, I needed massive self-love. I decided to commit two days to nourishing my heart, body, and mind with one simple goal of pleasure! I did yoga, meditated A LOT, cooked decadent meals, read on the beach, and then when I was more open to affection and connection with others, I cuddled with my man.

Tip #5
Find inspiration

Yesterday I read Cheryl Strayed’s book, Wild on the beach in SF. This woman speaks her truth with vulnerability and has been a real teacher for me at this point in my life. After death, divorce, drugs, and major self-deprecation, Cheryl commits to finding herself again on the Pacific Crest Trail with zero experience and a heavy backpack of dreams. She makes every mistake in the book on her 3 month hiking journey, but doesn’t give up ONCE on her mission. If this woman could persevere after such loss, I could get through this holiday season. This backpacking trip was Cheryl’s radical expression of self-love and her words inspire me to be the best version of myself.

Where in life are you abandoning your needs and self-care?
How are you willing to love yourself?

Remember the treasure you are on the planet now. You have a special gift that the world needs. When you’re overworked, stressed or overwhelmed by guilt to please others, your gifts are blocked from their full-expression! Give yourself the gift of self-love and see what opens up for you.

My next Retreat is the perfect space to develop self-love. It’s a chance to marry yourself, as you are, til death does you part.

My Video Interview on Feminine Energy in Biz

Hey gorgeous,

Let’s say you were invited to take part in an interview that would blast your story, voice, and FACE all over the internet. Would you be excited or terrified?

I was terrified. When Lauren Joyce invited me to participate in her Feminine Super Power Video Summit with 12 women leaders from across the globe to demystify the subject of feminine energy, I almost said NO.

I could have waited until I was ready. I could have waited until I felt like an expert.  But does our mind ever think we’re ready to step into the light? No way. So I said YES, regardless of the fearful thoughts that told me it wasn’t a good idea.

So here it is! I share my thoughts on feminine energy in business and the many unorthodox ways I connect to my power so my business can be fun, pleasurable, and effective. I also share the very reason I became a business coach in the first place.

Click the image below to watch my interview with the beautiful Lauren Joyce.

This interview connected me back to WHY I do the work that I do, something I invite every single one of you to remember for your own journey as well.

So let me ask you, WHY are you doing the work that you’re doing? If you’re a coach, why did you become a coach in the first place? Let your WHY bring you home.

Love,
Chrissy

P.S. My one on one coaching program is still open! Ready to build your coaching business? Find out if  Emerge is right for you.

Unleash Your Feminine Super Power: Invitation Inside

Hey lovely,

If you’ve been reading my emails over the past couple of weeks, you’ve probably noticed my passion for Feminine Energy as it relates to business. Well, next week my dear friend and colleague Lauren Joyce will be launching a video summit featuring 12 experts who will be sharing about this very subject.

Finalsummit (2)
This video summit will explore all areas of your life and business with thought leaders, game changers and wildly successful women entrepreneurs.

I was interviewed last week and I’ve literally been on fire ever since our time together. I shared my juiciest secrets for how I keep my feminine energy alive in my business so I don’t burn out. I also share a personal story about why I became a business coach (which might move you to tears) along with many other unconventional nuggets of wisdom for moving through fear and procrastination in feminine ways. You won’t want to miss it.

The summit starts on November 2nd!

http://unleashyourfeminine.com

Best of all, this summit is FREE! That’s right, you’ll receive 12 video interviews where experts share their knowledge and wisdom for zero dollars. I’ve personally worked with a few of these women first hand and their content and coaching is off the hook.

Many of us have heard of feminine energy but aren’t sure what it means or how to use it; especially in our businesses.  Over the course of this week you’ll learn the true power of feminine energy and how it can help you attract the success you desire.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

  • How to sell in a feminine way
  • How to move past money blocks
  • How to create community and support in your business
  • How to become a powerful and influential leader in your life and business
  • How building your business can be fun and not lead to burn out
  • How to get your authentic message to the world
  • How to move through “perfectionism” or procrastination
  • And SO much more.

When a woman is tuned in to her feminine energy she collapses time lines, creates miracles and lifts everyone around her to new levels of greatness.

I hope you join me!

Business as a Rite of Passage: SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!

Hey lovely,

What’s a Rite of Passage, you ask? It’s an event that marks an important stage is someone’s life. It’s an initiation into a new way of being. Some examples are birth, death, marriage, divorce, puberty, coming out as gay, or the first day of Kindergarten just to name a few. When you complete a rite of passage, you’ll never be the same as you once were.

Go back and think of some of your firstsYour first day of school. Your first time riding a bike. Your first dive off the diving board. Your first period. Your first plane flight without your parent. Your first job interview. Your first child. The first death in your family. Your first kiss. Your first love. Your first hearbreak.

All of these “firsts” require an element of letting go in order to welcome the new. In every rite of passage, something has to die in order for something new to grow in its place. You have to let go of the old. In puberty, we let go of little girl and welcome the woman. When we get married we let go of being single and welcome partnership and commitment.

In these passages, resistance absolutely shows up. It’s scary to grow and it’s scary to let go! Many emotions accompany a rite of passage and it’s absolutely normal to resist. Like I’ve said so many times, when we step into the light our shadows will show up whether we want them to or not. With expansion comes contraction. The secret is watching the contractions and not going down the rabbit holes of fear and self-doubt.

What does this have to do with you? When a woman starts her own business, that rite of passage can be incredibly painful and difficult to be with. Everyone’s process is different, so I’ll share what this rite of passage brought up for me.

Trip down memory lane….
My rite of passage into becoming a coach started the week before I hosted my first workshop. I couldn’t sleep! I was so worried about making a fool of myself in front of friends that I considered canceling it all together. I was scared to charge for it so I made the 9 hour workshop a donation of $20!!

“What will they think of me? What if they don’t come? What if I choke? What if they hate it?!”

I was terrified. Fast forward to the day of the workshop. We finally sat down for our first sharing circle, and BOOM! I dropped into 100% presence and love. It wasn’t about me anymore. Because I showed up in the face of resistance, a leader was born out of the ash.

At this workshop I got my first client, and realized that Life Coaching could actually be my career but I was terrified to tell anyone! I was too caught up in my own story concerned about people thinking I was phony, cheesy, or annoying. I was more concerned with what people thought of me than my own contribution to the world. In order to grow, I had to let go of this limited thinking. The age of that story was probably 12 years old! As a business woman I needed to honor these fearful thoughts of my 12 year old and then leave her feelings behind. My conviction had to run the show, not my fear.

Fast forward to quitting my teaching job and declaring myself as a Life Coach. There were SO many growing pains which made this rite of passage so powerful. Fear, after fear, after fear. Fear of how I’d look in photo shoots. Fear of not making enough money. Fear of telling my friends and extended family about this new hippy career I’ve created for myself. Fear of posting my first blog post. Fear of not being perfect.

Fear ruled EVERYTHING!

They say that your deepest wounds carry your most treasured gifts. Since I got to know these fears SO well, I decided to write an eBook about them. I let fear ignite me instead of stop me. Fear was my torch, not my destruction. Fear to Fire was the first “opt in” I’ve ever created for my business and it was a roaring success. I trusted the fear, let it teach me, and then I used its teachings to support my community.

Now here I am, still experiencing the growing pains of having a business, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Every uplevel is invitation to grow.

Let me ask you:
What wounds do you need to heal in order to bring your business to life?
What obstacles are showing up for you that you need to move through or transform?
What do you need to let go of? What could grow as a result?

The sooner you find your answers the better. The real, wild, and most powerful YOU is on the other side of this rite of passage. I’m excited to meet her!

Much love,
Chrissy

The Archetypes of the Feminine Business Owner

Hey lovely,

I’m not gonna lie, sometimes I want to throw in the towel. Sometimes insecurity comes in when I compare myself to others. Sometimes I get frustrated with all the technology that’s required and I literally scream at my computer. Sometimes I stay so busy that I forget to feed my body and feel too tired to go on with my day. Sometimes I turn into a raging bitch and can’t connect intimately with my man which in turn.. totally blocks my creativity in business. Sometimes fear paralyzes me.

Can you relate?

In those moments of chaos, frustration, anger, fear or disconnection, I call on four archetypes to show me the way. These archetypes are teachers, each representing a different quality of the feminine that’s required in an empowered business. I call on these archetypes all the time to support my work in the world and I want to share them with you to give you a taste of my inner world.

Each of these archetypes bring forth a different message. Some stretch me more than others, but I need each of them to be whole and complete in my business.

Athena the Warrior Goddess. I need Athena when I’m overwhelmed by the “doing” that’s required in business. Athena’s strengths are being rational, intelligent, and goal oriented. She never gives her power away to others. She’s an achiever and values education. She’s turned on by doing! Her logical thinking requires her to take the action necessary to meet her goals. She’s a fighter and activist, protecting her rights and those of others. She has strong boundaries and doesn’t waste time worrying, fretting, or complaining. She helps me believe in my innate intelligence, and also inspires me to take action.

Aphrodite,  the goddess of love and sensuality in the body. When I call on Aphrodite in business I make sure that my body feels amazing in every way. I take my time, I get plenty of sleep, and make sure that all my actions in business are pleasurable. “Does this feel good?” is a question I ask often. In this state my business becomes a seduction and dance. I’ll know I’m resting in my “Aphrodite” archetype when my partner Steve enjoys hearing about my business. I’m so turned on by my work in the world that everyone around me feels good too.

Kuan Yin is the Goddess of Compassion. This is who I need most, and unfortunately often forget. I tend to be very hard on myself. Whether it’s trying to be perfect, making a mistake, or making my monthly income goal, I call on Kuan Yin when I need to forgive myself. I believe all entrepreneurs can call on her especially in the realm of competition. Jealousy doesn’t exist in Kuan Yin’s consciousness, instead she has love and compassion for everyone in her field. She lifts them up and never brings them down. She simply sees their light and has massive compassion for those doing business differently than herself.

The Midwife. The midwife is a healer who specifically focuses on the birthing process.  I believe business to be a rite of passage, a lot like the miracle of birth. In order to show up as fully self-expressed and embodied entrepreneurs, we have to expand, contract, stretch, push, and let go. We need a midwife to facilitate this process so it feels safe to go through that ring of fire.

Sometimes just pressing publish on a facebook post feels like a freaking near death experience. “What are they gonna think of me? How stupid does this sound? What if no one signs up?” Those thoughts of fear and self-doubt are totally normal but we need to call on the midwife for support. She helps me breathe through my contractions. She’ll encourage me to push through the pain because there’s something so beautiful on the other side. She’ll help me use the fear as my power rather than my destruction. The midwife gives me strength.

My clients know these birthing pains well… Fears around raising their rates, publishing their websites, changing their brand- every expansion requires a contraction. The midwife pulls us into the light.

Which archetypes are most alive in your business now? Is there an archetype in particular that you need more than anything now? Let me know by commenting below, I’ll personally respond with feedback and support.

Lots of love,
Chrissy

P.S. Really! If you comment below I’ll personally write you back and see which archetypes can you support you in this rite of passage of business.

Doing Biz the Feminine Way

Hi lovely,

I’m back from my travels and you’ve been on my mind! This vacation opened up a new channel for me in my business. That might sound a little funny considering I was not doing “business” by any practical means.

I hiked all over the Swiss Alps. I received massages. I swam in the Mediterranean Sea. I ate incredible pasta and pizza and drank delicious wine. I stayed away from email as much as possible, and trusted that a new phase of my brand would come through by simply spending time with me.

While traveling I felt into what it really means to be a woman entrepreneur. Do we have to DO more? Do we have to FORCE more? What about the receiving? What about our bodies? What about our desires?

The final phase of my trip involved a beautiful mastermind between women entrepreneurs from all over the world in Florence. Coaches, healers, body workers and yoga teachers all on a mission to transform themselves and their communities. We had the chance to ask our mentor a number of questions about our businesses, and I couldn’t help but notice a theme.

A lot of questions, myself included, began with these words: I don’t know… I don’t know how to get to the next level. I don’t know who I’m meant to serve. I don’t know where the money is coming in next. I don’t know how to write a newsletter to my list. I don’t know to to reflect who I am in my copy. I don’t know the right title for my program.

I personally know this conversation well because I’ve gone down this rabbit hole too many times. I don’t know what to put on my website. I don’t know what to charge. I don’t know what to wear in my photo shoot. I don’t know if I can lead that retreat.

But the truth is.. we know better. We always have, the knowing is in our bones.

Imagine a trust in yourself so big that confusion no longer tackled your ideas.
Imagine surrendering to your higher purpose in such a way that you’re no longer available to question your self-worth or value.
Imagine knowing in your bones that you always have the answers.

Our purpose was decided long before we were born, ladies. Looking outside ourselves for answers isn’t the way. There’s no point in comparing our mission to other women on the path, all we need to do is focus on ourselves. What lights you up? What brings you joy? What keeps you up at night? That’s you, sister. When we strip away the stories and trust our hearts, the answers always show up.

Trusting yourself is a total game changer. I’m more clear than ever that my message is to help holistic entrepreneurs remember who they are and what they came here to do. I don’t help them figure out their target market, packages, or business model. I help them remember why they’re on this earth in the first place, and then the business pieces fall into place once her essence is remembered. When you remember, the tears and copy begin to flow.

When you are YOU, your clients will trust you. When you are YOU, business becomes a flirtatious game.

The feminine way of doing business is allowing your work to come through. You don’t have to force the perfect newsletter. Instead you can enjoy the process and let your words dance on the page. If you’re blocked spiritually, energetically, or physically- that’s when we force things. That’s when we burn out. When you take care of every aspect of your being, you become an open vessel for your real message to come through.

Take care of yourself, sister. Trust that powerful voice of yours. Trust that longing in your heart. Trust your guidance system.

I’m with you,
Chrissy

The Power of Desire

Hi lovely,

This isn’t your typical email from me..

I’m keeping it real, letting you know what’s possible when you set an intention and follow through like your hair is fire.

A rare and new desire came into my mind months back.. a desire I couldn’t shake even though it sounded pretty crazy at first thought.

The desire was simple and sounded like this:

I want to go on vacation.. a real vacation, for a whole month. I don’t want to work, I simply want to receive, relax, explore, and unplug.

As you can imagine, the critical voice in my head told me that idea was insane, impossible, and selfish.

The good news? My desire trumped the “make-wrong” (as it always does).

My intuition knew that this vacation was deserved, so I did everything in my power to make it happen. I’m an entrepreneur after all- I designed this life for myself so I could have the freedom to travel at will.

Once I put this desire on the calendar and started booking flights and hotels, the money started coming in, and that’s the formula ladies. Money comes in when there is purpose for it. My desire, which was undeniably true to my heart, caused the easiest financial month of my life.

Long ago freedom was just a dream where I felt trapped inside a teaching schedule.

The video I captured on Monday will share more.  Click the image below to watch it.

Now I’m off!! First stop Switzerland, next stop Montenegro, then Croatia, and then Italy where I’ll be completing my Mastery Business Program with my mentor, Gina Devee.

I’ll be back with a series of updates and inspiration from my travels on October 5th. Thanks for reading and I so look forward to reconnecting when I’m home!

May all of your desires have permission to be expressed and realized.

Love,
Chrissy

What a Professionally Produced Video Brought Up For Me

Hi lovely,

Here’s a personal story. I’ve learned a valuable lesson this weekend. Stepping into the light requires you to face your darkness.

Remember my blooper reel? Well, the finished video is available and ready to share with the world, but I’ve been totally resistant and scared. My intention for this video was two-fold. First I wanted to share my personal story of transformation with the world, and secondly I wanted to inspire new women coaches to follow their dreams.

“Truth” is a core value of mine, so I’m gonna tell you exactly, play-by-play, what’s been coming up for me as I reveal my video to the world.

When I first looked at the finished video that my incredible Director poured her heart and soul into producing, all I saw were my flaws. Incase you didn’t know, I have a very critical super ego!

I noticed shadows on my upper lip which looked like a mustache.
I heard every space in between my sentences which made me look stupid.
I made myself wrong for choosing NOT to use a teleprompter which would have saved so much time and energy.
I worried about what other successful coaches would think of me.
I felt embarrassed when I saw myself dancing on screen, worried that people will laugh at my my expression and joy.
I worried about my boobs popping out of my shirt, concerned that I would be judged for my body.

The list could have gone on, but I stopped in my tracks and literally yelled, “WTF ARE YOU DOING CHRISSY?!” I chose to get back into my power. I relaxed into the energy of gratitude and focused on the authenticity, power, and message of the the story that I told in visual form.

In that moment I got even more clear on my mission: to help new women coaches step into their power by healing their fears of visibility. So often I see new women coaches scared to be seen out of the fears of rejection, dislike, or the unknown. Maybe she’s scared to send an email to her list. Or scared to build her Facebook Business Page. Or scared to launch her website.. or scared to post a video blog. The list could go on, and I felt that nasty fear more than ever this past weekend!

Even in the face of fear, I decided to LOVE myself through my ego’s criticism and chose to freaking share it with the world. I chose to be the light, not the darkness. This is who I am, this is what I stand for.

It’s my purpose to support new women coaches in healing their fears and insecurities so they can be visible in the marketplace and share their gifts with the world.

So here I am. No longer settling inside the old tapes of unworthiness and shame. Here’s my finished video, a project I’m incredibly proud of… mustache, boobs and all 🙂

Click the image below to watch.

I hope this inspires you to follow you dreams to matter what. Everything you want is available inside your decision to say YES.

Thank you for watching!

So much love,
Chrissy

Goal Busters

Hi lovely,

When we begin to step into our power and envision bigger and brighter goals for ourselves, three “Goal Busters” will show up in your life that will try and steer you off course.

Maybe there’s a new job that you REALLY want… Or a program you really want to purchase…. Or a creative project that you are SO ready to birth (just to name a few).

These three Goal Busters stop most people, but not you!  I bring these to your awareness so you can move through them with grace and empowerment so you’re not thrown off by their sneaky stunts that will keep you powerless, afraid and unfulfilled.

Without a doubt, important goals of yours will produce Negative Reasoning (negative thoughts), fears, and obstacles that you will have to overcome if you’re serious about your success.

Here’s the order of what will come up for you before you fully commit to your goal.

1. Negative Reasoning: We come up with every reason why it won’t work out. I’m not ready. I don’t have the money. I’m so busy this month. I won’t have time for family. What will my friends and family think? I’m too old to start this business now. I’m going to fail anyways, so why start? They won’t like me. I’ll wait until a better time..

Recognize any of these thoughts? These are the reasons why you shouldn’t attempt your goal. Just bring your own reasoning to the surface, but don’t engage too far. Acknowledge them, thank them for showing up, and make the empowered decision to move past them.

These reasons come from your ego.  The ego is defended and protective- it’s designed to keep you safe. Your ego is not designed to help you grow!

The opportunity here is transforming your negative reasoning into POSITIVE reasoning. Instead of imagining the worst possible outcome, what is the BEST possible outcome if you pursue this goal 100%? What will open up for you if you invest in yourself at this level? How will you feel and who will you become? The possibilities are endless.

2. The next phase is fear, or your feelings. You may experience fear of rejection, fear of failure, fear of making a fool of yourself, or fear of not making enough money etc.

This is where many people see stop signs, but the most successful women see the green light. These fears are part of the process. You wouldn’t feel afraid if this was simple and unimportant.

Acknowledge the fear, welcome the fear, and then let your fear serve you instead of stop you. Hold your fear like a torch and let it lead you out of the darkness and into the light. Trust me, your courage is so much stronger than your fear.

3. Finally, you will become aware of obstacles. These are the pure external circumstances beyond your thoughts and feelings. Losing your credit card. Your wallet being stolen. Your email getting hacked. A death in the family. Getting sick. Your Facebook business page being banned. Not having the money you need to move forward with your goal.

These obstacles are simply detours that the Universe throws at you- like it starting to rain while leading an outdoor workshop. These detours are an invitation to rise in your power, deal with the circumstance at hand, and move forward with grace.

Instead of getting super worked up over these obstacles and throwing in the towel, I invite you to see each obstacle as a question from the Universe asking: “Are you committed?”

What’s your answer? Are you serious about your goal?

What obstacles are already showing up in your life and business? How can you deal with these obstacles responsibly and powerfully? How can you transform these obstacles into opportunities for growth and expansion?

Remember, it’s important to welcome these negative reasonings, fears, and obstacles with a zero excuses policy. You will become stronger, wiser, and more flexible if you do, which will make you the most empowered woman you can possibly be.

Love,
Chrissy
